Welcome to my realm of light and shadow.I'm Karkof, a 24-year-old freelance illustrator from Brazil with a passion for fantasy, RPGs, original characters, and visual storytelling.My goal is to create artwork that captures atmosphere, emotion, and the feeling of stepping into another world. 1- Send me your request with references and a description.
2- I will provide a quote and estimated delivery time.
3- Work begins after the payment (or agreed deposit) is received.
4- You'll receive progress updates during the process.
5- Final artwork will be delivered once it is completed and approved.◆ REVISIONS
• No limits for minor revisions (e.g., adjusting eyes, correcting anatomy, changing colors, adjusting shading)
• Changes that completely alter the initial sketch or concept will have an additional fee.◆ PAYMENTS

TERMS OF USE◆ GENERAL USE
• Both client and artist have the right to promote commissioned works, including work in progress and completed pieces, on all public platforms.
• Clients may request confidentiality regarding the commission details and process. Additional charges may apply depending on the level of confidentiality requested.
• No compensation or refund will be provided for changes in intended use once payments have been made.◆ PERSONAL USE
• Personal commissions may not be used by the client for commercial purposes or profit without an additional commercial license.
Personal commissions are intended for non-commercial use only.You may:✔ Use the artwork as profile pictures or banners.✔ Print it for personal use.✔ Share it on social media with proper credit.You may not:✘ Claim the artwork as your own.✘ Remove my signature.✘ Sell or mint the artwork as NFTs.✘ Use the artwork for AI training or image generation.


◆ COMMERCIAL USE
Commercial use requires an additional licensing fee.
Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:
• Merchandise and products
• Book covers and commercial publications
• Game assets
• Streaming and monetized content
• Branding and advertising
• Promotional material
• Commercial reproduction or distribution of the commissioned artworkCommercial rights are negotiated individually depending on the intended use, scope, audience, distribution, and duration of the project.◇ Merchandising - minimum +200% of total price
• Applies to digital or physical products featuring the commissioned artwork or reproductions of it, including prints, apparel, stickers, posters, and similar merchandise intended for sale or brand promotion.
• Different licensing arrangements may be negotiated depending on the scale and intended use.◇ Advertising / Content - minimum +20% of total price
• Applies when the commissioned artwork is used to promote a business, brand, product, service, channel, or other commercial activity.
• Includes, but is not limited to, streaming assets, advertisements, promotional graphics, thumbnails, banners, icons, wallpapers, and other commercial content.
• This license does not permit mass production or the sale of physical or digital merchandise featuring the artwork.◇ Commercial Publication — minimum +50% of total price
• Applies when the commissioned character/design or artwork is used as part of a commercially published work, such as a comic, book, artbook, or similar project.
• The commercial publication fee grants permission to use the commissioned artwork within the agreed commercial project. The license is not charged per chapter, copy, or unit sold.
• Personal and non-commercial use of the character/design is permitted without an additional fee.
• Commercial rights are negotiated individually depending on the scope, distribution, print run, exclusivity, and intended use of the project.◇ Non-Profit — no fee
• Personal and non-commercial use is permitted without an additional licensing fee.
• This includes personal projects, gifts, private references, and non-commercial creative projects.
• Artwork used for charity or fundraising may be permitted without an additional fee, provided that the use is discussed with the artist beforehand and the artwork is not otherwise sold as merchandise.


◆ INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
• The client retains ownership of the character, character design, concepts, and original ideas created specifically for their commission.• The artist retains copyright and authorship of the artwork produced for the commission and may use the commissioned artwork for portfolio and promotional purposes.• The client may use the character/design as a basis for new artwork and may commission the same character from the artist or other artists. Other artists may create new artwork based on the character/design, but may not claim authorship of the original artwork created by the artist.• Commercial use of the character/design or commissioned artwork is subject to the Commercial Use terms and may require an additional licensing fee depending on the project.◇ Ownership of the character/design does not constitute ownership of the commissioned artwork itself. The client may:✔ Use the character/design in new stories, projects, and creative works.
✔ Commission the same character/design from the artist or other artists.
✔ Create or commission new versions, interpretations, or artwork of the character/design.
✔ Use the character/design in other personal or non-commercial projects without an additional fee. Commercial use remains subject to the Commercial Use terms.◇ The client does not automatically receive:✘ Copyright or authorship of the commissioned artwork.
✘ The right to reproduce, distribute, or sell the commissioned artwork commercially without the appropriate license.
✘ The right to use the commissioned artwork in merchandise or products without the appropriate license.
✘ The right to use the commissioned artwork in advertising, branding, or other commercial promotional material without the appropriate license.• A full copyright transfer may be negotiated separately, starting at 300% of the total base price. In such cases, the commissioned artwork will no longer be associated with the artist's brand, and the artist will no longer retain the rights to use or promote the transferred artwork.• ANY KIND OF COMMISSIONED WORK IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED FROM BEING USED FOR AI TRAINING BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER THE COMMISSION PERIOD. Whether partially or fully owned, commissioned works created by the artist contain the artist's creative contribution and may not be used for AI training or image generation.While the artist will not actively police actions taken outside the commission period and direct discussions, GenAI use is a clear boundary for the artist and is not something they wish to be associated with.
